Ypiranga domina Seleção do Gauchão
O Grêmio foi pentacampeão gaúcho ao vencer o Ypiranga. Porém, foi o time de Erechim quem teve mais premiados no evento dos Melhores do Gauchão. Por outro lado, o volante Bitello recebeu o prêmio de Craque da competição.
Ao todo, o Ypiranga recebeu oito prêmios: o goleiro Edson, os laterais Gedeílson e Diego Porfírio, o volante Falcão e o atacante Erick, além do técnico Luizinho Vieira. Erick também recebeu o troféu de artilheiro do Gauchão, e o presidente Adílson Stankiewicz foi eleito o melhor dirigente.
— Competição extremamente bem disputada, as classificações para semifinal foram na última rodada. Em três anos de gestão, dois times do interior na final. Acho que isso demonstra a grandeza do futebol gaúcho — exaltou o presidente da Federação Gaúcha de Futebol, Luciano Hocsman, em seu discurso.
